First drive from house in new Vue
So on Jan 2 my dad had his pituitary tumor operation – lots of phone calls that week. Then on the third we went down to Tucson to buy the new Vue. I worked hard to re open the garage on Mon and Tues so I could park the new car inside and leave for Maryland on Wed. Daddy got out of the hospital on Tuesday and Elizabeth took me up there on Wed. evening. She had to have a one day break to get ready for Justin’s surgery on Friday. So I helped Mother with cooking, shopping and cleaning some key areas of the house like the basement, laundry room, phone center and linen closet. On Saturday Elizabeths family came up to watch the football games and eat the Mexican food I had been making – beans, burrito meat, tortillas and rice. The roads were icy and slippery as we went up the hill
I slept at Elizabeth’s house and left 5am or 3 am my time for the airport.
